the city of vancouver is returning to it's old self after the 2010 winter olympics. what a party it was! even the people not so exited for the olympics admitted that the atmosphere was magical! the red knitted mittens were absolutely everywhere! can't wait for the paralympics starting on march 12!
In the mean time spring is not officially here, but the trees have blossoms and the narcissus are blooming. it truly smells like spring. that also means knitting with cotton and other spring-like materials starts. deciding what lace pattern for a new sh
awl is going to be the challenge. one of the red wood shawl pin is going to be responsible for the inspiration!
